Jack has spent his whole career with BB&T Scott and Stringfellow, even interning with the firm before finishing his bachelor's degree. He joined Chuck Scull, an industry veteran, to form their partnership in 2005.
The following year, he completed BB&T's prestigious Leadership Development Program where he learned both the investment and banking sides of the business. In 2019, he was promoted to managing director. Jack was named #173 on Forbes 2019 Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors list as one of 1,000 young, talented advisors who represent the future of the wealth management industry, after also being named in 2018. Additionally, Forbes named him as one of the best-in-state wealth advisors in 2019.
Jack concentrates on wealth management strategies, income management and retirement solutions for individuals and their families. He also services the group’s corporate retirement plans. He enjoys working closely with clients to improve their wealth management and capital preservation.
Jack has aligned himself with strategic partners, such as BB&T Wealth Advisors* and other industry professionals, to better serve our clients. In the spirit of the Scull-Taylor-Kornegay Group's philosophy of service first, he is always willing to go the extra mile and meet with individual clients at a convenient location, such as their home or office or a local BB&T branch throughout North Carolina.

Jack resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife, April, and their daughters Vivienne and Seaton, and Alfred, their bulldog. They are members of Christ Church in Raleigh and Carolina Country Club where Jack enjoys playing tennis and golf.
